Tasmania Day 5 - The Honey Farm, Raspberry Farm, Swansea

We are heading from Mole Creek to Swansea today, stopping over at The Honey Farm and Raspberry Farm.

The Honey Farm is located in Chudleigh. It is a nice little shop with honeys, honey ice cream, and other honey-made products. There are great range of honey tastings around the shop, information on honeybees, and a glass viewing of beehive. Tempted to buy a lot there but was worried about my luggage space. Ended up buying some apple honey, pistachio honey nougat, and honey lollies. Such a cute shop, really love it.

We then headed off to Raspberry Farm in Elizabethtown. Forgot to take photo of the actual raspberries but they sell fresh and frozen raspberries, raspberry products such as jams, and raspberry foods and drinks. I didn't try anything there but I should have. I heard the foods are really good. It is on my list to visit for next time.

We then drove to Swansea. The weather got worse and worse and it began to rain.

After we checked into our accommodation, we did one of Tasmania's 60 Great Short Walks, Loontitetermairrelehoiner. Try to pronounce that one! It is a very easy, relaxed, and short coastal track around the headland. It was a nice walk in the rain and the cold weather we had today.

It was an uneventful day. We took it easy for the first time on our trip, walked around the beach, watched TV in our motel room and had an early night, hoping tomorrow we will have better weather.
